Rural Development: MCRD Deputy Minister visits Wakema Township

Deputy Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Myint Soe held a meeting with Sunflower growers at Knowledge Center in Wakema Township, Ayeyawady Region on Friday.

During the meeting, the Deputy Minister instructed necessaries to increase per acre yield of sunflower, and provided agrochemical items produced by Russia. The Deputy Minister then proceeded to KyaungSu Village in Weywa KyounSein Village-tract and inspected the paving of KyaungSu-KyounSein inter-village concrete road under the Village Development Project.  

The facility is being carried out from 25th July to 15th September 2024 with a total cost of 18.5 million kyats provided by State Fund and public contribution, and 85 percent of the project has completed at present.
