Opening of cyber security training: MoEA UM gave an opening speech

The opening ceremony of e-Government related Firewall Administration User Training (Cyber Security) training was held at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 28th August with the attendance of Union Minister Jeng Phang Naw Taung, Deputy Minister U Zaw Aye Maung and officials.

In his opening speech, Union Minister said that in the implementation of e-Government process by the Government organizations, the construction of ICT Infrastructures is one of essential process and the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs has been fulfilling ICT infrastructures as per the fiscal year including extended installation of Networking, CCTV (16) Channel, new designing of Website (Web Portal), expansion of Internet Bandwidth and the maintenance of Networking Devices. In 2024-2025 fiscal year, for the cyber security of the Ministry, as the Firewall - FortiGate 101F (Hardware) has been installed with the collaboration of GNE Col, Ltd, the training is opened to understand installation of Firewall and arrangements of cyber security. 

Next, the Deputy Minister elaborated opening of “e-Government related Firewall Administration User Training (Cyber Security) training.

Then, GNE Co., Ltd မှ Branch Office Manager introduced the training instructors and clarified with Power Point followed by the introducing of trainees individually.

After that, Union Minister, Deputy Minister and officials posed for the documentary photo together with the training instructors and trainees. The training will take place for three days and 14 trainees will attend, it’s learnt.
