Those who want to establish a political party are applying to the Union Election Commission by stating the name of the party they want to establish. To date, there have been 17 groups that have applied for the right to establish parties.
Among the groups that applied, (1) Solidarity and Development Party and (2) Socio-Economic Enhancement Party were found to comply with the political parties’ registration law and regulations, and the Union Election Commission approved the applications for the establishment of the political parties on 26th August.
The Solidarity and Development Party and (2) Socio-Economic Enhancement Party which were approved by UEC for the applications for the establishment of the political parties, must apply to the Commission for registration as a political party under Rule 7 of the Registration of Political Parties within 30 days from the date of approval. It is reported that there are 14 parties that have been approved for the establishment of a political parties.
