Flood Warning: Thanlwin and Sittoung Rivers exceeded its danger levels

According to the observation at 7:30 am on Sunday, the water level of Thanlwin River in Hpaan has exceeded about 16 cm above its danger level, and may continue to rise within the next day.

Likewise, the water level of Sittoung River in Madauk has exceeded about 27 cm above its danger level. It may fall from the present water level within the next day but may remain above its danger level. People who settle near the river banks and low lying areas in Hpaan and Madauk are advised to take precaution measure.
