Since 2007, the Myanmar government has been addressing forced labor complaints in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO) and relevant ministries.

Beginning in 2020, these complaints have been processed through the National Complaint Mechanism (NCM), which involves representatives from the National Human Rights Commission, employer organizations, employee organizations, and relevant ministries, including the Ministry of Labor.

Forced labor victims can safely report their complaints to several organizations, including the Office of the State Administration Council, Regional and State Governments, Nay Pyi Taw Council, Myanmar National Human Rights Commission, the ILO Liaison Office in Yangon, or the Ministry of Labor. Complaints can be made in person or in writing.
