2025 Matriculation Examination: Application can be made between September 1-30

Application for the 2025 matriculation examination can be made starting 1st September at the Head-office of Department of Myanmar Examinations (Nay Pyi Taw) and the Department Myanmar Examinations (Yangon branch office) in Hlaing Township. 

According to the announcement of Myanmar Examinations Department on Thursday, students can buy the exam application forms at the price of 200 kyats per one along with the deposit stamp at the price of 700 kyats, totaling 900 kyats.

The exam application forms and cards are divided into two colors such as green and pink as their relevant subjects of the students. Those students who failed to sit for the old curriculum exam after passing Grade-10 old format, those who failed the Grade-11 old format and Grade-12 new format can take the exams as external students for three relevant subjects of STEAMS-1, STEAMS-2 and STAMS.

The external students will have to purchase the exam application forms and deposit stamps from the relevant Township Education Officer Offices and submit their application forms to the said offices.

The internal students can buy the exam application forms and submit them to their schools. The principals will have to submit the application forms with deposit stamps for their students to the Department of Myanmar Examinations within the set date. The students need to fill and check their submission forms themselves for any mistakes and can submit their application forms within 1st and 30th September this year.
