Receiving Delegation: MOH Union Minister meets UNOPS Country Director

Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win met with the delegation led by Ms. Sara Austin Netzer, Country Director of United Nations Office for Project Services-UNOPS at the Ministry on 22nd August.

During the meeting, they discussed about the collaborative efforts in eradicating the AIDS, Syphilis, Tuberculosis and malaria, using the Global Fund,managed by the UNOPS team in cooperation with the Ministry of Health.

They also exchanged views on the areas of cooperation in maternal and reproductive health care, nutrition development, primary health care and emergency health care activities, with the assistance of the Access to Health Fund. The discussion also included future plan of cooperation and measures for ensuring the effective use of funds.
