Drug Seizure: Over 237.9 million kyat worth drug in Mandalay and Taunggyi

Myanmar Police Force reported that psychotropic substances worth of 237.9 million kyats were confiscated in Mandalay Region and Shan State.

On 18th August, a combined team comprising members of Mandalay Region Police Forceseized over 42,000 stimulant tablets, 0.126 kgHappy Water, 0.02 kilosKatemine and 0.135 kilos ICE in Aung Nan Yeik Thar Ward, Chan Aye Thar San Township in Mandalay Region. 

On August 19th, acting on a tip-off, the combined team members conducted a search on Toyota Caldina at Taung Lay Lone Village Tract, ShweNyaung Township in Taunggyi, resulting the confiscation of over 7.4 kilos Katemin and 1.49 kilosHappy Water. The suspects have been taken actions in line with the law.
