Training on census enumeration: MGY CM gave an opening speech

Organized by Ministry of Immigration and Population in Magway Region, 2024 Population and Housing Census Region level instructor training was held at the meeting hall of collective office in Magway Township in the morning on 19th August and attended by Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, Region Government Ministers and officials.

In his opening remark, the Region Chief Minister urged the trainees to study thoroughly on the subjects of training and apply them when those are lectured to the other level trainings effectively. As the Census enumeration is crucial for laying down the plans and policies for the development of the country and is only source available the population and socio-economic data, the task should be implemented to be successful as a national duty.

After the instructors and trainees introduced themselves individually and taking documentary photo, the lecture of training was commenced.

Three instructors will give the training for 15 trainees about the matters on population and housing census for 10 days, it’s reported.
