Inspection of Paper Mill: MoI Union Minister inspected Paper Mill (Yeni)

Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than took an inspection tour of Yeni Paper Mill in Yeni Township of Bago Region in the afternoon on 20th August.

During the tour, the Union minister inspected the repairing of machinery to resume running of the 20-tonne packaging paper factory, test-running of machinery and maintenance of the automatic operating systems.

In his meeting with staff and employees, the Union minister instructed officials and employees to use raw materials after systematically purifying them, adding that it is necessary to carry out maintenance and repairs of machinery strictly in line with the prescribed rules and standards, the need to buy the necessary machinery to operate the paper mill as quickly as possible,to gather spare parts of machinery and raw materials in order to operate the mill without interruption, conducting refresher courses for staff and employees to increase their skillfulness in production procedures and managing the multiplier courses on maintenance and servicing of machinery for employees.

During the tour, the Union minister gave instructions to service personnel on how to perform the assigned duties in unity.
