School Health Week Activities: Commemorative ceremony held in Nay Pyi Taw

A commemorative ceremony for Central Level School Health Week activities for 2024-2025 academic year was held at the Ministry of Health on August 16th.

Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Pe made a speech, saying that the school based education promotion activity has been carried out as a national duty, aiming to nurture the habit of healthy lifestyles among the students and to promote health standard.

He pledged that the Ministry of Education will play its role in implementing school health activities through cooperative efforts. Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win also urged all to make collaboration between the two ministries for promoting health status of students.

The ceremony also saw the presentation of prizes to the region and state Public Health Departments for their excellent cooperation in health activities, screening of commemorative video clip and display of booths on school health week activities.
