Exhibition on Australia-Indonesia Relations

The exhibition “Two Nations: A Friendship Is Born" was officially opened yesterday, at the Maritime Museum, Jakarta, as part of the commemoration of seventy five years of diplomatic relations between Australia and Indonesia.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition began with the striking of a “gong” by the Australian Ambassador to Indonesia Penny Williams, along with the Head of Regional Partnership Bureau at the Jakarta administration MarulinaDewi. This exhibition provides an in-depth view of bilateral relations between the two countries that have been established since Indonesia declared its independence on August 17, 1945.
