Maldives and Bahrain held talks at Al-Qudaibiya Palace

Prime Minister of Bahrain and Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, on Tuesday welcomed Maldives Minister of Foreign Affairs Moosa Zameer at the Al-Qudaibiya Palace.

Thanking the leadership and the government of Bahrain for the closeness accorded to the Maldives throughout the past few decades, the ministers discussed ways to deepen existing bilateral ties between both countries.

They also deliberated on international issues of mutual interest such as the global economic situation, climate change and environment. The official visit was undertaken by Minister Moosa on the invitation of Bahrain and is set to conclude on August 15th.
