Farewell courtesy call: DPM MOFA UM received Ambassador of Kuwait

U Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received H.E. Mr. Mubarak M A Aladwani, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, who has completed his tour of duty in Myanmar, at 10:30 AM on 12th August 2024 at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the call, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister expressed appreciation to H.E. Mr. Mubarak M A Aladwani, for his contribution in promoting bilateral relations and cooperation between Myanmar and Kuwait. They also cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the further enhancement of the existing friendly relations, expansion of the mutually beneficial cooperation including trade and investment, implementation of cooperation agreements between the two countries, as well as the regional and international issues of mutual interests.

At 11:30 AM on the same day, Ms. Gao Ping, the Consul-General of the People’s Republic of China in Mandalay, paid a courtesy call and presented her Exequatur to U Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, they cordially discussed the matters related to the further enhancement of the existing “Pauk-Phaw” relations, the acceleration of Myanmar-China bilateral relations.Also present at the meeting were the senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
