The Forum Leaders Meeting In Tonga

The Pacific Islands Forum foreign ministers have convened at the Secretariat in Suva to deliberate on key regional issues ahead of the forum leaders meeting in Tonga later this month.

The meeting saw representatives from all forum member countries come together to discuss matters crucial to the region's future. Forum chair and Cook Islands Prime Minister Mark Brown reminded leaders that if they are to attain the shared 2050 vision, they must be more strategic and assertive in their collective engagement.
