The Colombian government reports the discovery of new glass bottles, botijas, an anchor and other objects in the first exploration of the Spanish galleon San Jose, sunk more than three centuries ago in the Caribbean Sea.

In February, the government announced the start of the extraction of elements from the galleon that sank at a depth of 950 meters with its hold packed with gold, silver and emeralds estimated to be worth billions of dollars.
