




Rakahine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, members of state government and departmental officials inspected consumer goods and construction materials that arrived from the Yangon by the ship named MVKumudra at the Sittwe multipurpose port on 8th August Morning. The rehabilitations materials are sent by the ships under the arrangement of Rakhine State Government and transportation and communication Committee under the guidance of National Natural Disaster Management Committee.
7897 rice bags of 48 kg sent by the Ministry of social welfare, relief and resettlement and a total of 404.75 tons medicines and medical equip ordered by the Rakhine State Government arrived at Sittwe on MV Kumudra Vessel.
The Chief minister and officials inspected the arrival of the foodstuffs and the chief minister coordinated the requirements.
Next, The Chief Minister and party inspected loading and unloading of rice and foodstuffs at the multipurpose port in Sittwe transported from Yangon by MV-Shwe Thu Won and MV-Aung Yadana vessels.
And then, the Chief Minister and party inspected the part of the road that is still being repaired on the Point-Sittwe Hotel Road, so that it can be repaired as soon as possible. During the inspection, the chief minister gave the necessary instruction after hearing the reports.
