ASEAN Sports Day: MoSYA UM awarded the prizes to the winners

The walking and racing competition in commemoration of ASEAN Sports Day was held at Wunna Theiddi Playground in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 8th August and the Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan, Deputy Ministers, Director generals and officials and athletes from Nay Pyi Taw Gold Camp and Youth Camp joined the competitions.

Next, the Union Minister and officials watched the 100, 400 and 800 meters women racing and 100 meter x 4 relay race competions participated by the athletes of Gold Camp and Youth Camp. The Union Minister and Deputy Minister awarded the first, second and third prizes to the winners and provided snacks and cold drinks to the participants.

The walking race and sports competitions were joined by a total of over 500 participants including Union Minister, Deputy Ministers, Director Generals, officials coaches and athletes, it’s reported.
