Cash and kind assistance: Staff families of MoEA donated foodstuff for national heroes

For the members of Tatmadaw and security forces who are serving State’s, defence and security duties with sacrifices on the frontline, the Staff families from the Ministries are providing cash donation and foodstuffs.

The preparations of foodstuff with goodwill and loving-kindness to convey for the members of Tatmadaw and security forces on the frontline by the Staff families of the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs on 7th August were overseen and encouraged by the Union Minister Jeng Phang Naw Taung and Deputy Minister U Zaw Aye Maung. The staff families of the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs are making arrangements to convey the foodstuffs prepared by themselves including dried anchovy, mock meat, groundnut mixed Balachaung, anchovy soybean mixed Balachaung, instant coffee, tea and noodle sacks etc. worth 5.7 million Kyats and 4.2 million Kyats of cash donation.

Those cash and foodstuff were conveyed to Nay Pyi Taw Command in the afternoon on Wednesday. In addition, they sent messages of encouragement with the best wishes: “the righteous war being fought by patriotic Tatmadawmen must be won” “Be Healthy, Be Safe, Be free from dangers” “May Victory be in all battles fighting”.

Those foodstuffs will later be transported to the recipients via military aircraft, helicopters, and vehicles, it’s learnt.
