




Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung met with the civil society organizations from Shan State (South) and (East), Pa-O and Danu Self-Administered Zones in the afternoon on 6th August to help solve the difficulties encountered by the social organizations which bear the registration certificate for engaging social welfare tasks in the state.
In his remark, the Chief Minister pointed out that as the philanthropic task is a way of public participation without discrimination in race and religion, it appears to be an important part of the norms in building democratic environment, it’s to be accepted that the philanthropic organizations are not the ordinary organization but the crucial ones as those can build the good relations between the government and the people and the government and the organizations.
Next, the Tachileik Social Organization and those of Shan State (South) reported their encountered difficulties, Chief Minister U Aung Aung coordinated and fulfilled requirements on the reports and the relevant Region Ministers and departmental officials clarified the necessary matters and gave necessary suggestions.
After that, the 13.8 million Kyats of cash assistance of Shan State government for 61 social organizations were provided by Chief Minister U Aung Aung, the responsible persons of the organizations accepted and the Chief Minister gave a speech of conclusion.
