Bangladesh President dissolves the Bangladesh Parliament

Bangladesh President Mohammed Shahabuddin Tuesday dissolved the Parliament which was formed through the 7th January national election.

The anti-discrimination student movement created the situation to the Prime Minister’s resignation. According to the press release of the President’s Office, the parliament was dissolved in line with the decision taken in the meetings with chiefs of three services, leaders of different political parties, representatives of civil society and leaders of Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.
