Receiving delegation of Thailand: MOIP UM received delegation of Thailand

The Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing received a delegation led by H.E. Mr. Mongkol Visitstump, Thailand Ambassador to Myanmar at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw in the afternoon on 6th August.

During the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on the matters on preparations for enumeration of nationwide census in coming October and extension of period in some Regions under the security and road transportation, importance of census enumeration and status of providing assistance by Thailand if there are requirements in the work process, helping search for illegal Thai citizen in Myanmar, bilateral cooperation for citizens of both countries to make official entry and departure and prevention of illegal entrance and exit and collaboration of immigration process to prevent human trafficking and online gaming and scam.
