US sprinter Thomas records fastest time in women's 200m semi-finals

US sprinter Gabrielle Thomas advances to the final of the women's Olympic 200m at the Paris 2024 Games, after recording the fastest time of the semi-finals. Thomas will face off against Saint Lucia's 100m gold medalist Julien Alfred in the final on Tuesday. Thomas, who boasts the world's fastest time this season of 21.86, captured bronze on her Olympic debut three years ago.
