Committee Meeting: Formation of Myanmar Digital Media Association

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn met with the Committee on Formation of Myanmar Digital Media Association in Yangon on Saturday.

The Union Minister discussed the crucial role of digital technology and media in Myanmar’s media landscape. He added that the emergence of the digital media association could help tackle the disputes and ethical problems while promoting the interest of the stakeholders.

The committee is comprised with experts in IT, media and digital fields. The Union Minister called for systematic formation of the association for successful implementation of the tasks. He urged all to serve for interest of the nation, combating fake and false news, spreading on the digital platform.
