Strong Condemnation: Various organizations denounce the act of terrorists

MNDAA terrorist insurgent group attacked the Defence Services Hospital in Lashio, Shan State (north), using short range missiles, heavy weapons and drones. This attack at the non-military target left casualties of local residents, departmental staff and families of the security forces, while some have been abducted forcefully.

Due to the attack by the MNDAA, many locals fled to the safer places. As such terror act of the terrorist insurgents, committing war crime, cannot be accepted, various social and religious organizations issued statements, showing their strong condemnation.

The organizations included the Young Men's Buddhist Association (YMBA), the Interfaith Friendship Organization (Central), Myanmar Evangelical Christian Alliance, the Methodist Church of the Union of Myanmar (Lower Myanmar), Evangelical Church, Bago, Deliverance Church (Yangon), All Myanmar Hindu Central Council, Myanmar Tamil Hindu Foundation (HQ), Thananta Dhamma Palaka (Hindu) Association, Islamic Religious Affairs Council Myanmar, Myanmar War Veterans Organization, Myanmar Press Council, Myanmar Sports Media Federation, Myanmar Motion Picture Organization, Myanmar Music Association (Central), Myanmar Artists Association (Central), Myanmar Theatrical Association (Central), Myanmar Comedians’ Association, Myanmar Writers Association, Pinnaygon Rakhine Jaame Mosque and Buthidaung-Maungtaw Regional Development Association.
