Inspection in Yangon: MOI Union Minister visits Photolitho Printing Press

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn visited Photolitho Printing Press in Bahan Township of Yangon Region on Friday to oversee the work undertakings. The Union Minister observed the processes of printing and binding books as well as the preparation plans for facilitating the lecture room, gym and store room.

During the visit, the Union Minister instructed the need for timely completion of quality materials while making constant maintenance for durability of machinery. Established in 1954 with over 90 staff, the Photolitho Printing Press started handling the printing of school text books and exercise books in 1984 with 690 million yen assistance of Japan International Cooperation Agency.
