Precautionary Measures: Flood warning issued for Taungoo Township

The Department of Meteorology and Hydrology has issued a flood warning based on observations at 7:30 am on Friday.

The water level of the Sittoung River at Taungoo is currently over 1 foot below its danger level but is expected to reach that level within the next 24 hours. Residents living near riverbanks and in low-lying areas within Taungoo Township are advised to take precautionary measures to safeguard against potential flooding.
