Effort for flood relief: Bago Region CM inspected effort for flood relief

Bago Region Government Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win met with the regional disaster management committees at the Natural Disaster Supervisory office in the morning on 31st July.

Firstly, Region Government Chief Minister urged to conduct the cleaning and rehabilitations for the schools, hospitals and public areas due to the waters of the waters of the Irrawaddy River and Myit Makha River have started to recede, students in schools that will be reopened will have to carry out alternative teaching activities during the school holidays. Later, he inspected the flow of river water into Bago Township and overflowing of the highway on the old Yangon-Mandalay highway to Pyayagyi town and Bago Township. He instructed the requirements to the officials, it is learnt.
