Viet Nam Prime Minister pays a state visit to India

Viet Nam Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh paid a state visit to India from July 30 to August 1. The trip aims to expand ties in fields where both sides have potential and strengths.

Bilateral trade has increased 2.5-fold since the upgrade of bilateral ties to a comprehensive strategic partnership in 2016, reaching nearly US$15 billion in 2023.

Viet Nam Prime Minister will also deliver an important policy speech at the Indian Council of World Affairs, attend the Vietnam-India Business Forum, and meet with many Chairmen and CEOs of leading Indian corporations and enterprises.
