The injured were taken to the military hospital in Loikaw for medical treatment. Kayah State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin and officials comforted the injured, on 30th July and provided them with cash, medicines and food.
They also comforted the members of Tatmadaw, the Myanmar Police Force, militia and their families and provided them with cash, medicines and food. They also donated money for patients and members of the Defense Services General Hospital.
Terrorists frequently attacked non-military targets such as townships and wards by using rockets and heavy weapons, aiming to jeopardize the peace and stability of Loikaw. Three civilians died, and ten were injured due to their attacks, and the houses, pagodas and departmental buildings were seriously destroyed. Therefore, locals strongly condemn terrorists.
