Heavy Rainfall Relief

Heavy rainfall has drenched many places in north China’s Shanxi Province since Monday and local traffic police have implemented traffic control measures on affected sections.

By the end of Tuesday noon, over 90,000 people had been evacuated to safe places across the province. China’s Ministry of Finance said on Tuesday that 238 million yuan of funds had been allocated to assist in disaster relief and agricultural production restoration in five flood-stricken regions.
