Workshop on tourism industry: Union Ministers attended the workshop

The Union Minister for Hotel and Tourism Dr. Thet Thet Khine gave a remark at Workshop on Development of Myanmar Tourism Industry held at Shwe San Ein Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 30th July.

The workshop was attended by member of National Tourism Development Central Committee Union Minister for the Ministry (2) at the office of the Chairman of State Administration Council U Ko Ko Hlaing, Deputy Minister for Hoel and Tourism and officials.

In her remark at the workshop, Union Minister Dr. Thet Thet Khine said that this workshop is conducted to submit to the central Committee regarding with the requirement or no requirement of Myanmar Tourism Development Board or establishment of Authority for the development of Myanmar Tourism Industry decided at the central Committee meeting (1/2024) held in June.

The attendees at this workshop are urged to participate in the discussion as per the sector to formulate the structural formation of Myanmar Tourism Development Board together with its systematic mechanism and substantive methods and processes.

Next, the Deputy Minister U Phyo Zaw Soe discussed the facts about the development of tourism industry and matters to form a necessary organization facilitated to promote the economy of the country and the socio-economic life of the people.

Then, the permanent secretary clarified the holding the workshop and agenda of group discussion and the Union Ministers U Ko Ko Hlaing and Dr. Thet Thet Khine and Deputy Minister U Phyo Zaw Soe and attendees took a group photo. After that, the workshop was carried on, it’s learnt.
