President To Lam receives Vice President of the European Commission

Vietnamese President To Lam on Tuesday received Josep Borrell, Vice President of the European Commission and High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy during his official visit to Viet Nam to attend the State Funeral of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

President Lam expressed his respect for the General Secretary’s significant contributions to promoting Viet Nam-EU relations. He also emphasized the importance of effectively implementing the Viet Nam-EU Comprehensive Partnership and Cooperation Agreement and the EU-Viet Nam Free Trade Agreement.
