Vocational training: MCRD UM gave the opening speech

The Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe attended the opening of electronic welding technique training organized by the Department of Small-Scale Industries under the project of creating small scale industries and income boosting for rural families held at Kyar Inn Village of Lewe Township in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area in the morning on 29th July.

In his opening remark, the Union Minister said that the Department of Small-Scale Industries under the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development is expanding the project trainings of creating small scale industries and income boosting for rural families apart from the regular short course trainings opened by the Department in 2024-2025 fiscal year.

This training is aimed at the local residents to carry out income boosting at home and the youth who do not complete the formal education to learn the vocational skills and to establish own business.

Next, the Union Minister coordinated requirements upon the reports of the attendees of local elders.

After that, the Union Minister visited Pauk-Taw Village, encouraged the small-scale sewing industry of Family sewing business which was established after completing the basic sewing training opened by Department of Small-Scale Industries under the project of creating small scale industries and income boosting for rural families, it’s learnt.
