Humanitarian Assistance: Displaced residents from Lashio receive aid

Residents from Lashio fled their homes due to panic and fear caused by terrorist attacks. In July, insurgents from the MNDAA and TNLA targeted Lashio with heavy and small arms, as well as short-range missiles, leading to explosions in the town of Shan State (North).

This violence prompted locals to seek refuge in safer areas, with many finding shelter in Taunggyi, Shan State (South). On Saturday, food and cash assistance were provided to those displaced and taking refuge at the Chinese Baptist Church in Taunggyi.
