Sri Lankan Election Commission issued the gazette notification

The election commission of Sri Lanka has issued the gazette notification announcing the date of the 2024 presidential election. The election will be held on the 21st of September. Accordingly, nominations will be accepted on the 15th August according to the gazette notification.

Thereby the candidates can field their nominations at the office of the election commission in Rajagiriya.  The relevant gazette notification has been issued under the guidance of Chairman of the Election Commission and other members.
