Friendly Relations: SAC Chairman receives Sri Lanka delegation

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Secretary of the Ministry of Defence of Sri Lanka, General Kamal Gunarante (Retd) at his office in Nay Pyi Taw on 26th July.

During the meeting, both sides cordially discussed matters related to strengthening friendly relations between Sri Lanka and Myanmar, diplomatic relations, current collaborative activities in religious sector, exchange of military trainees as well as enhancing bilateral cooperation in economic sector.

The meeting also focused on the active participation of Myanmar and other member states in previous BIMSTEC National Security Chief’s Meeting.
