Regional Development: Magway Region Investment Committee held its meeting

The Magway Region Investment committee held its meeting 6/2024 at the meeting hall of Magway Region Government Office on Thursday.

Chairman of the Committee Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin urged committee members to identify and promote the investment activities that benefit the national economy, and cooperate with relevant departments to allow and approve the orders for investment proposal submitted to the committee according to the procedures. He also urged to cooperate with investors to facilitate all aspects of their operations in accordance with the relevant laws.

The meeting discussed approval of 1 investment proposal submitted by Myanmar national to the committee in industrial sector. The capital of the proposed investment is over 5 million kyats including 1.003 million US dollars which will create 11 local job opportunities.
