Development Works: Library project and public infrastructure in Magway Region

Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin accompanied by the departmental officials inspected the area which is set to extend Saku Town library building in Minbu (Saku) Township of Magway Region.

With 30 million kyats cash assistance donated by the Magway Region Government, Minbu U Aaw Bartha Library and Saku Town Library will be extended and upgraded during this financial year, providing library furniture, books and periodicals.

After inspecting the land area, the Chief Minister and party oversaw the cleaning tasks carried out at Pinyar Bank Library at Ward No. (1) in Saku and inspected the operation of the library. They also donated public science treaties and books to the library.

On arrival at Pwint Phyu Township,  the Chief Minister and party inspected the concrete paving of 4 miles and 2 furlongs long LalKaing-Kyaung Taw Yar road, construction of gravel drain, retaining wall and box culvert, the reconstructioin of Bridge No. (3/17) in Hle Kyi Village, concrete paving of Minbu-Magway Road and heard reports.

Then, the Chief Minister provided necessary instructions in relocating the lamp posts, telecommunication towers and water pipelines, strengthening the resilience of the roads and timely completion of the constructions.
