Day of mourning for plane crash victims

Post-mortem and identification of the bodies of the 18 people who were killed in Nepal’s Saurya Airlines plane crash has begun at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj. The identity of all bodies will be established within 72 hours after matching with the details provided by the relatives of the deceased.

Eighteen people died when a Pokhara-bound Saurya Airlines aircraft from Kathmandu met with an accident at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Wednesday morning. Saurya airlines Captain Manish Ratna Shakya, who was seriously injured in the crash is currently undergoing treatment.
