Agricultural Development: Fertilizers and crop seeds provided to farmers in Monywa

Sagaing Region Government is striving to achieve the target yields of crops, assisting the agricultural inputs.

On Wednesday, local farmers in Monywa District were provided with agricultural inputs at a ceremony, held at the District Agriculture Department. Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw called for collective efforts of departmental personnel and farmers for achieving the targeted yields, pledging the needs of seeds, fertilizers and inputs. He also emphasized the need to provide technical assistance for cultivating quality seeds, soil development, sufficient supply of irrigated water and correct cultivation method.

During the event, farmers were provided with Pearl and urea fertilizers, sunnhump, sunflower and cotton seeds.
