Transferring of responsibilities: Pro Tem President transferred his duties to SAC Chairman

The Statement regarding with the Pro-Tem President U Myint Swe who has taken medical leave and sought the medical treatment under the health circumstances has been released.

The office of the Pro-Tem President conveyed a notification to the office of the State Administration Council that according to those health conditions, to be able to implement the issues of the National Defense and Security Council as in need, the responsibilities of the Pro-Tem President will be transferred to the Chairman of the State Administration Council while absenting to serve the responsibilities during the medical leave of Pro Tem President U Myint Swe.

After conveying the notification, the transferring of responsibilities of the Pro Tem President to the Chairman of the State Administration Council was signed for the issues of the National Defense and Security Council at 11:30 AM on 22nd July, 2024, it’s learnt.
