Kishida comments on Biden’s withdrawal

Japan's Prime Minister Kishida said he thinks that US President Joe Biden decided to drop out of the presidential race as Biden believed it was the best political judgment.

Kishida was asked by a reporter on Monday about Biden's withdrawal. He said the move was a matter related to US domestic politics and he thought it was based on a political judgment.He added that the Japan-US alliance is the cornerstone of his country’s diplomacy and security.
