Donating Offertories: MOHA donates Waso robes to the Sayadaws

The Ministry of Home Affairs donated Waso Robe at a ceremony held in Nay Pyi Taw on Sunday. Eleven Sayadaws led by Leading Patron Sayadaw of Pali University Mingala Zayone Pariyatti Sarthintaik of Pyinmana graced the ceremony.

Member of the State Administration Council Union Minister Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and congregation took Five Precepts from the Patron Sayadaw, and listened to the sermon delivered by the Sayadaws. This was followed by donation of Waso robes and offertories to the Sayadaws. After sharing the merits gained, the Union Minister and congregation offered day meal to the Sayadaws and members of the Sangha.
