Bach visits the Sorbonne, where the IOC was founded 130 years ago

International Olympic Committee (IOC) president Thomas Bach visits the Sorbonne University in Paris, where Pierre de Coubertin founded the IOC and revived the Olympic Games 130 years ago in 1894. He paid tribute to this precious legacy. All French men and women can be very proud of this unique Olympic heritage. The visit comes a week before the opening ceremony of Paris 2024.
