Mexico president-elect names ministers of tourism, culture and labor

Mexico president-elect Claudia Sheinbaum makes three new appointments to her cabinet, with two women heading the ministries of Culture and Tourism, while the current Minister of Labor is set to hold onto his position.

35-year-old Josefina Rodriguez Zamora will be the youngest member of Sheinbaum's government, leading the Tourism Ministry when Sheinbaum takes office on October 1. A member of outgoing President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador's left-wing Morena party, Sheinbaum has apparently eyed continuity with her predecessor, handing top posts to several current or former officials in his government.
