





Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan together with the State Ministers and departmental officials arrived at Puta-O Township by flight in the afternoon on 17th July and made ground inspection of work projects subsidized from the Country’s Economic Promotion Fund for the development of Puta-O District, regional food sufficiency, enhancement of industrial products and the improvement of socio-economic life.
Next, the Chief Minister accompanied by the State Ministers, members of State level Village project supervisory Committee, Commander of local tactical Command (stationed), officials from administrative bodies visited Industrial, Agricultural and Livestock Breeding High School opened in the compound of Basic Education High School in Dottan Ward of Puta-O Township.
At the school, the Chief Minister viewed the teaching and studying at the school, cordially greeted the students, coordinated requirements of class chairs and textbooks by flight and provided 3 million Kyats of cash assistance for the teachers.
Then, the Chief Minister inspected fish farm in Lone-Sut Ward, inquired the status of market share and commercial outcome and coordinated for granting capital loan and laying roads in the ward with the departmental officials.
The Chief Minister and party also inspected fish farm in Pan-Hlaing Ward, heard the reports of the responsible officials, coordinated to grant 6 million Kyats and inspected fish ponds.
After that, the Chief Minister inspected bamboo chop stick factory, inspected production process and coordinated to subsidize capital loan and laying entrance road to the factory, it’s reported.
