Ivory Coast kicks off first vaccination drive against malaria

Ivory Coast is launching its first malaria vaccination campaign aimed at children.

In the country, malaria killed four people a day, including three children under the age of 5, and remains the leading cause of medical consultations, according to the Ministry of Health. This first vaccination phase concerns 250,000 children aged between 6 and 23 months, said the Ivorian Health Minister.
