







Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe made inspections in Ayeyawaddy Region on Wednesday. First, at the Myaungmya Township Education Degree College, the Union Minister met with faculty members and students and said that education is the basis for the development of a country. He also highlighted the important role of teachers for the best education.
Teachers need to be dignified and role models for students, the Union Minister added. Also, the Union Minister inspected the basic education and industry, agriculture and livestock high school in GoneNi Village and provided rice, cooking oil and basic foodstuffs for students.
The Union Minister continued his inspection trip to basic education schools in TheinLar and YayTwinYayKan villages, fulfilled the requirements and provided teaching aid.
In the meeting with the education officers, headmasters and headmistresses at the Myaungmya Township General Administration Department, the Union Minister stressed the importance of school maintenance, water access and security and fulfilled the requirements.
The Union Minister also inspected the BaYaChaung post primary school and provided backpacks for students. Later the day, in Pathein Township, the Union Minister inspected the education degree college and basic education high schools and gave necessary instructions.
