





The Vacant, Fallow and Virgin Land Management Central Committee held its 14th meeting on Wednesday afternoon at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation in Nay Pyi Taw.
In the meeting, Chairman of the Committee Union Minister U Min Naung said that it is necessary to carry out the successful development of palm cultivation activities and to properly and systematically use the land allowed for cultivation.
The country's GDP will increase by making the agriculture and livestock farming successful. It is necessary to properly verify the vacant, fallow and virgin land area to give permission if there are applications to use. The Union Minister also urged the attendees to collect tax in line with the existing law. The meeting continued with discussions on remarks from the ministries and applications to use the vacant, fallow and virgin land.
